James DeAnda Elementary School

James Deanda Elementary School achieved LEED? certification, the new $12,000,000, 85,500 square foot new school located at 7980 Almeda-Genoa Road will accommodate 750 students, pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. The school is located on a previously undeveloped site. The first floor classrooms, Pre-K and Kindergarten are clustered together in one wing while the first and second grade classrooms are in another wing in close proximity to the state of the art science and art classrooms as well as the computer lab.

The first floor clusters five first and second grade classrooms, with two special population classrooms. The first floor includes a computer lab, a state of the art multi-use online testing classroom, resource room, multi-purpose room, music room, dining room, kitchen, and main office. The second floor clusters five third grade classrooms, five fourth grade classrooms, and five fifth grade classrooms.
